Asustor-loaned unit. Two HDD + two SSD installed; RAID 1 + one SSD cache. Screenshot 284 MB/s D:→Home. No drive MPNs or client speed. Do not use the review’s 3.9 GHz / USB / ‘needs 5GbE’ lines against the official table.

AS6706T v2 — El Chapuzas Informático original review
Tested: Asustor-loaned AS6706T v2. Author installed two HDDs + two SSDs; performance prose uses HDD RAID 1 plus one SSD as cache. Screenshot: Windows copy of file TK from Datos (D:) to Home at 284 MB/s (80% complete, 325 MB remaining). HDD/SSD models, RAID of the second SSD, client NIC and negotiated port speed are not in prose or the screenshot.
Applies to: Exact enclosure. ~285 MB/s (prose) / 284 MB/s (screenshot) is a Windows copy to the Home share. Do not treat reviewer spec table (N5105 2.3–3.9 GHz, USB mix-ups, 2.3 W rest, ‘needs 5GbE’) as manufacturer facts.
- Prose: sequential transfer about 285 MB/s with HDD RAID 1 and one SSD cache; direction unspecified in text.Source location: Rendimiento paragraph
- Screenshot shows 284 MB/s copying TK from D: to Home (write to NAS), 325 MB remaining at 80%.Source location: Asustor-Lockerstor-6-Gen2-AS6706T-v2-19.jpg
- Using both 5GbE interfaces is described as doubling bandwidth for simultaneous clients, not measured as dual-port SMB multichannel.Source location: Rendimiento paragraph
- 18.1 dBA and 48.5/27.7/0.81 W are recited from the spec sheet, not reviewer instrument readings. Official CPU is 2.0 GHz burst 2.90 GHz; official rest is 0.81 W. Dual 5GbE is already on the unit despite the ‘needs 5GbE’ con.Source location: Especificaciones vs official table

Limits to keep in mind
- Gift/loan from Asustor.
- No HDD/SSD MPNs, no client NIC, no confirmed 5GbE negotiation.
- Reviewer USB/clock/power/con list contradicts the official table — official values kept.
- 18.1 dBA is not a measured sound-pressure test.
