N5095 2-bay with SODIMMs — no TS-262A lab yet, and no HDMI/PCIe on the A-table

US MPN TS-262A-4G-US · diskless · 4GB SODIMM · N5095 · 2×SATA · 2×M.2 Gen3×1 · 1×2.5GbE

Draft from QNAP’s TS-262A-4G hardware tab, the US store, and NASCompares’ launch/compare write-up. ChooseCompute has not tested TS-262A. Older TS-262 reviews stay in related evidence because CPU, RAM construction, HDMI, and PCIe differ. See evidence and test gaps ↓

01

Official TS-262A-4G

N5095 burst 2.9GHz, 4GB SODIMM DDR4, 16GB max, 2 slots, 2×SATA diskless, 2×M.2 2280 Gen3×1 (heatsink size note), 1×2.5GbE, USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 + USB 2.0×2, 48W adapter, 14.75 W standby / 20.77 W typical with drives populated, 3-year warranty.[1]

02

What changed vs TS-262

NASCompares 2026-08-12: N4505 2C/2T → N5095 4C/4T; memory ceiling still 16GB but A-series uses SODIMMs. HDMI and PCIe listed on old models only. 65W → 48W adapter on the 2-bay. NASCompares also quotes PassMark CPU Mark 4,006 (N5095) vs 2,018 (N4505) — secondary CPU database scores, not a TS-262A NAS test.[4]

03

Related TS-262 only

Club386 TS-262: soldered 4GB N4505, HDMI 2.0, PCIe 3×2, IronWolf sequential >290 MB/s on 2.5GbE, 16.4GB copy in 74s vs ~3 min on Gigabit. Useful to explain 2.5GbE, not to score TS-262A. NASCompares also quotes PassMark CPU Mark 4,006 (N5095) vs 2,018 (N4505) — secondary CPU database scores, not a TS-262A NAS test.[5][4]

What still needs a real-world test

We have verified the specifications, but have not found an original test that we can reliably apply to this exact model. The advice above follows the documented features; performance, noise and long-term reliability are not independently established here.

Questions before buying

Is TS-262A the same as TS-262?

No. Quad-core N5095 and SODIMMs vs dual-core N4505 soldered RAM. HDMI/PCIe appear on the old compare row, not the A-series table.[1][4]

Any official performance numbers?

Not in the opened independent labs. Do not reuse Club386 TS-262 MB/s as TS-262A.[5]

Can I add RAM?

Official: 2×SODIMM, 16GB max, QNAP modules. That is a real difference vs Club386’s soldered TS-262.[1]

HDMI for Plex?

Not listed on the TS-262A-4G hardware table. Older TS-262 had HDMI 2.0 in Club386’s review.[1][5]

What is the current US street price?

This draft does not assert a current QNAP Store price, stock, or lead time. Newegg $369 in-stock is dated 2026-09-10. Confirm live checkout.[2][3]
