This page combines the Plus Series datasheet column for HAT3320-20T, the April 23, 2026 product spec PDF, 2026-09-11 HCL rows, and dated US listings. We have not tested this drive. No original lab benchmark of HAT3320-20T was adopted. A self-bought Johor unbox (2026-05-08 arrival) confirms the HAT3320-20T 20TB label and tray install only. HAT3310 12TB/16TB user reports use a different HCL firmware package family (MG09 vs MG11) and are not this SKU's results. See evidence and test gaps ↓

20TB decimal raw capacity, 7200 rpm, 1 GB cache and 295 MB/s typical maximum are manufacturer ratings.[1][10]
No calibrated enclosure measurement for HAT3320-20T. Datasheet 20/32 dB is not room noise.[1]

Living with it
This is the 20TB HAT3320-20T Plus drive. Sampled 2026-09-11 HCL internal-tray rows list it as published/recommended on DS923+, DS224+, DS1522+ and DS1825+, with a note to upgrade DSM to 7.2.2-72806 or later — a newer floor than HAT3310-16T. Recheck your exact NAS.[8][2][10]
20TB is decimal raw capacity. Formatting and RAID/SHR reduce what you keep. Keep an independent copy of important files.[1]
No controlled listening-room test was adopted. Manufacturer idle/seek dB values lack distance and weighting. The 2026-05-08 niat video is an unbox/tray install with a visible HAT3320-20T 20TB label; sparse authored captions, not full ASR, and no benchmark. Newegg's 2026-09-11 template showed a 5-year parts/labor line while Synology's sheet and warranty policy are 3 years from the receipt. Hardwareluxx 4TB 5400 rpm power/noise and CGM 12TB iSCSI CDM figures are other SKUs.[1][9][6][11][12]
